No offence but most people feel more safe with downloading software from well known sites rather than from questionable mirrors.

And Blind is right, as far as we know you could have infected that netcat file with some RAT that you will use
to "hack" us later. And that's why we should download it from a more trusted place like the original homepage
for example.

NetCat isn't either a RAT, it's a tool with wich you can get a lot of usefull information about server etc.
Anyway, it's a great tool and everyone should have one copy of it. It doesn't matter if you are a admin
or a attacker, get one now!

netcat is unarguably the ultimate network debug tool, the swiss army knife of tcp/ip as it's sometimes called.
if you are running linux/bsd/solaris/... you might give GNU netcat a try too, i prefer it becouse it's Free Software.

Hi my friend .... my intenseness is not to funny, or one comedian of this, is not not personal at all, alone that look that was a silly critique, so you dire that I am in thousands of forums in the net and experience many years... Now I have never had problems with my English and they all have understood theirs good and nothing .... so it!!! With regard to your critique that now I come to see her .... if I put a virus, a robot, or a worm ... etc; in the application, this was never happening(passing) since all the programs are tests for my and there are many applications that they need crack to be able to have them full, it is like that and in all sides .... so never in all the time that I take in communities informáctis, I have had problems with nobody and always been grateful of the applications that exist posts.
Because of it I have stopped of posts for that alone you criticize and distrust in this community .... that walk to the defensive for which you think that they are going to put a tool with virus .... please ..? It is alone a suggestion ... and it is not like that...
